Historic & Trophy Buildings Fund, the Luxembourgish fund belonging to Sorgente Group, launches its USA-based business division. In Q2 2012 the division, specialised in trophy buildings located in the US, in particular in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago, will finalise its first investment, the acquisition of the majority shares of Michelangelo Real Estate Corporation. The shares have a value of over $ 120 mn. The portfolio also includes shares of Flatiron Building in New York.
