According to QI data, the volume of real estate commercial transactions in Italy in Q2 2012 has reached Euro 839.7 mn, considerably higher than Euro 563.4 mn in Q2 2011 (+49%), yet slightly decreasing when compared to Euro 1,008.8 mn in Q1 2012 (-17%). Looking at the past data, Q2 2011 has been one of the worst quarters of the last five years (that explains also such a high percentage increase). On the other hand Q1 brought about a negative trend after three quarters of consecutive growth. The overall value of transactions recorded until the end of Q2 2012 is Euro 1.848.549.000.
