The latest Crif Barometer shows that the Italian families’ demand for mortgages has dropped by -42% in June 2012 alone compared to June 2011. The overall decrease in H1 2012 has been 44%. These are the data released by EURISC – Credit Information System of Crif that gathers the data of over 78 mn credit institutions.
